I, THEODOR MERON, President of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the former Yugoslavia since 1991 ("International Tribunal"),
NOTING the "Ordonnance du Président relative à l’attribution d’une affaire à une chambre de première instance," filed on 14 June 2002, assigning case no. IT-02-59-PT, The Prosecutor v. Darko Mrđa, to Trial Chamber II composed of Judge Schomburg, Judge Mumba and Judge Agius;
CONSIDERING Rule 62 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the International Tribunal ("Rules"), which requires the President to assign cases to Trial Chambers, and Rule 19(A) of the Rules, which authorizes the President to coordinate the work of the Chambers;
CONSIDERING the need to ensure an expeditious handling of the cases before the International Tribunal;
HAVING CONSULTED the Presiding Judges of Trial Chamber I and Trial Chamber II;
HEREBY TRANSFER case no. IT-02-59-PT, The Prosecutor v. Darko Mrđa, from Trial Chamber II to Trial Chamber I and ORDER that, in this case, Trial Chamber I shall be composed, with immediate effect, as follows:
